From Borikham to The Rock in support of Vientiane Rescue.
Join us for an exhilarating five-day Team Dai Challenge through some of Laos' most remote and spectacular landscapes in Bolikhamxai province, all while raising funds for a cause that saves lives.
The exact route has not yet been finalized and may change depending on further scouting of some of the roads. What is certain is that it will cover around 500 km over five days, with plenty of climbing: total elevation gain is expected to be around 9,000 meters.
The route map below gives an indication of the area and possible routes, with a few final decisions to be made after further scouting. Days 1 and 5 will be half cycling, half transport, to and from the start and finish points in Bolikhamxai. Whatever the final route, participants must be experienced MTB or gravel riders with a well-maintained MTB or gravel bike.
This ride is more than a physical challenge: it's a journey of camaraderie, adventure, and purpose. Each participant commits not only to the kilometers but also to raising funds for Vientiane Rescue.

Participating in the Team Dai Challenge 2026 from November 28 to December 2, 2026.
Paying the rider fee once the final cost is confirmed. This is estimated at around USD 450 and includes transport, basic accommodation for 4 nights, breakfast, lunch and dinner, fruit, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks during the rides, support vehicles, and medical assistance, one unique Team Dai 2026 jersey (brand: F2P).

Team Dai is pleased to announce that for our 2026 fundraising challenge we will be partnering with Vientiane Rescue.
Vientiane Rescue
Founded in 2010, Vientiane Rescue provides free emergency rescue and pre-hospital care to anyone in need, regardless of nationality, background, or ability to pay. It operates under the Lao Foundation for Assisting Poor People, the first foundation registered in Laos.
Its volunteer rescue teams respond to road traffic accidents, medical emergencies, and other crises, providing first aid, pre-hospital care, rescue operations, and transport of patients to medical facilities. When disaster strikes, volunteers and equipment are sent where they are needed most, from flood response to a recent cave rescue in Xaisomboun. Beyond emergencies, the organization works to improve first-aid awareness and emergency preparedness in the community.
Today, Vientiane Rescue's services are available to around 1.5 million people in Vientiane, Xieng Khouang, Pakse, Vang Vieng, and Luang Namtha, and its teams directly assist approximately 10,000 patients every year.
As a volunteer-run service, Vientiane Rescue relies almost entirely on donations, mostly from Lao individuals. Funds raised through the 2026 Team Dai Challenge will support fuel and medical supplies, protective gear for volunteers, rescue and medical equipment, and training for volunteer rescuers.
