Join the Challenge

This year the renowned Team Dai Challenge will take us to Bolikhamxai Province. We will leave from Vientiane on Saturday November 28, early morning, by bus to Bolikham where we will start cycling to Thathom. On Wednesday December 2 we will arrive at The Rock and drive back to Vientiane, arriving in the evening.

COST TO PARTICIPANTS: approx. 450 USD (including a jersey)

If you are serious about joining the Challenge, please complete the form below to (pre)register. In case more than 30 people sign up, priority will be given to riders who are regular Team Dai riders (Tuesday/Thursday mornings and weekends).

Once registered, further details will be sent to the email address that you provide in the form below. Registering for the ride means:

  • Participating in the Team Dai Challenge 2026 from November 28 to December 2, 2026.

  • Paying the rider fee once the final cost is confirmed. This is estimated at around USD 400 and includes transport, basic accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner, fruit, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks during the rides, support vehicles, and medical assistance.

  • Supporting the fundraising campaign for this year's charity, Vientiane Rescue, by approaching your network for donations.

  • Participating in training rides

Please complete your final registration for the TDC2026 by paying the rider fee once it has been established. Make sure you order your jersey.

Note: you are only registered for the ride once you have paid the full amount. You will be informed of the transfer details later.

If you decide to withdraw before October 30, we can reimburse 50% of the fee. After October 30, we do not reimburse and your fee will go to charity.

The fee includes all transport, accomodation, three meals a day, basic drinks and snacks during the ride, support trucks/crew/medic and a unique Team Dai Challenge 2026 jersey. Any surplus from the budget after the ride will be donated to the charity of the ride.

Sponsorship: if you need financial support in order to be able to participate in the Challenge, indicate this in the form in the ‘medications’ field. Please provide justification for sponsorship (can be in English or Lao). Sponsorship will be given on an individual basis based on approval by the Team Dai organizing committee.
